Anastasia Didaskalou
Attorney at Law – Immigration & Deportation Defense
Born and raised in Greece, Anastasia lost her father at just five years old due to medical malpractice. Watching her family fight for justice in court inspired her lifelong passion for advocacy.
After moving to the U.S., she earned her degree from Purdue University with a double major in Philosophy and Sociology and minors in History and Human Rights Studies. She then attended DePaul University College of Law in Chicago — taking on law school in her second language.
At DePaul, Anastasia served as Vice President and Alumni Chair of the Society of Asylum & Immigration Law, and worked as a student attorney in the Asylum & Immigration Clinic, representing vulnerable immigrants, including former Afghan soldiers who aided U.S. forces.
She also worked with Beyond Legal Aid on immigration cases and contributed for three years as a legal editor and case summarizer for the Illinois Criminal Code under Professor John Decker.
In honor of her late father, Anastasia founded the Dimitris Didaskalou Scholarship Fund to support undocumented and DACA students with school essentials. She also led efforts within her law school to expand resources for these students.
Before graduating, she was awarded the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Public Service Award for completing over 250 volunteer hours and advancing DePaul’s mission of service and justice.
After law school, Anastasia began practicing immigration law — and quickly realized many firms put profit over people. She founded ADH Law Group to change that.
